As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?" IMDb

I saw this movie the other day because it wasn't Friday and my friend and I weren't able to see Dinner for Schmucks or Charlie St. Cloud. I will say I'm glad I saw this movie. It was a good action movie and I haven't seen one since the Bourne trilogy. I liked the constant action and how they completely defied gravity to make this movie even more action-packed. However, the summary on here is completely different from what I thought the movie would be about...kind of. And, it seems as though everyone is a bad guy in here and no one is pureply innocent at all. Along with the constant surprises that once you found out, you were more surprised that you didn't figure it out for yourself, it is incredibly confusing. My friend and I spent half the movie talking to one another discussing if someone was another person and if something would happen becasue we couldn't possibly really see what we just saw. Once you do figure it out though, it is a good decent action film. I was ticked off with the endin but it leaves you wondering if there will be a sequel. I, being the nosy person I am, did my research and found that Phillip Noyce stated:
"We will hopefully have the sequel in a couple of years. Angelina has done a great job as the lead character and audience would realize that it’s just the beginning when they watch the film."
So, I guess we will have a new action series in the future. Noyce also commented the series will probably have Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise as well.

In all, I would give the movie a try if you are an action lover. If you are like my friend, you will hate a certain part in the movie (I hated it too but I kind of saw it coming). But this is a great movie and I really recommend you all go out and try it. Usually I'm not a big fan of Jolie but she did a great job with this role, I truly believed her.

Pace and Fangs,
Alisha
