Shadowspell

"On top of spending most of her time in a bunkerlike safe house and having her dates hijacked by a formidable Fae bodyguard, Faeriewalker Dana Hathaway is in for some more bad news: the Erkling and his pack of murderous minions known as the Wild Hunt, have descended upon Avalon. With his homicidal appetite and immortal powers, the Erkling has long been the nightmare of the Fae realm. A fragile treaty with the Faerie Queen, sealed with a mysterious spell, is the one thing that keeps him from hunting unchecked in Avalon, the only place on Earth where humans and Fae live together. Which means Dana's in trouble, since it's common knowledge that the Faerie Queen wants her- and her rare Faeriewalker powers- dead. The smoldering, sexy Erkling's got his sights set on Dana, but does he only seek to kill her, or does he have something much darker in mind?"

Oh my gosh. This book is so awesome! I loved Glimmerglass, and this is an amazing sequel to it. Constant page turner, and I couldn't even get all my homework done because of this... oops... Well, it was worth it!
It opens to Dana out on "not a date" with Ethan. It's a little difficult, seeing as she's constantly being watched by bodyguards. After a series of unfortunate events, Dana meet the Erkling, a one of a kind... thing. Like all creature there, he completely gorgeous, and if he wasn't super totally evil, she would probably have been in love with him. But weirdly enough, he always seems sympathetic towards her the whole time...
I could explain more, but where would the fun be in that? I am definitely going to give this book a 4/4. The only criticism I have is that it does have two F bombs and a couple more sensual occasions, but compared to most of the media now, I can't complain. Loved the book, loved the plot, loved the characters. I bet you will to. Buy this today!
